BUEI To ‘Take A Deep Dive’ Into Their Mission
The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] is inviting interested individuals to join them on Wednesday, May 18th as they “take a deep dive into BUEI’s mission.”
A spokesperson said, “As The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] prepares to celebrate our 25th year of operation in July, our vision to ensure ‘the ocean around Bermuda is widely understood, appreciated and protected’ remains as relevant as it was when we first opened our doors!
“We are seeking the community’s input to ensure the many ways we support this vision are meaningfully communicated to the public at large.
“We invite interested individuals to join us on Wednesday, May 18th as we take a deep dive into BUEI’s mission. All those aged 14 and over are encouraged to participate, regardless of whether or not they have had any involvement with BUEI in the past. The deep dive will be facilitated through a discussion using the ‘World Café’ approach, which provides an opportunity for all voices in attendance to be heard. And, in true café style, refreshments will be served.”
“This is a unique opportunity for community members of all ages to communicate their individual experiences and perspectives of the ocean surrounding our Island home and of BUEI. Through this conversation we seek to better understand how people connect to both BUEI’s vision and mission.” said Karla Lacey, BUEI CEO.
