Brianna Ray and her Lancashire Women’s teammates went down by 8 wickets in their ECB Women’s County Championship Twenty20 Group 1 match against North East Warriors.
North East won the toss and elected to field, Lancashire scored 114/5 in their allotted 20 overs, Ray did not bat.
In reply North East scored 115/2 in 17.2 overs, Ray bowled 2-0-28-0.
Cameron Jeffers & Amari Ebbin
Cameron Jeffers, Amari Ebbin and their Cowbridge Cricket Club teammates advanced in the Welsh Cup South Central Zone 2 Quarter-Final, defeating Creigiau Cricket Club by 3 wickets.
Cowbridge won the toss and elected to field, they bowled Creigiau out for 134, Jeffers led the Cowbridge bowling attack returning figures of 8-2-21-3.
In reply Cowbridge scored 135/7, Ebbin led the reply scoring 42 off 62 deliveries, hitting 7 fours, Jeffers was 13 not out when the score was crossed, he faced 15 balls hitting 2 fours.
