FAC Joins FinTech Association Of Trinidad
First Atlantic Commerce [FAC] announced its alliance with The FinTech Association of Trindad & Tobago [Fintech TT], a not-for-profit organization that provides open membership to FinTech startups and tech companies, working closely with Government and regulators.
A spokesperson said, “FAC is a Bermuda-based, feature-rich ecommerce payment gateway that delivers customized and flexible online credit and debit card processing to companies across the Caribbean and Central America. The company also provides the first and only PCI validated Point-to-Point Encryption solution for companies in the Caribbean Region as well as additional risk mitigation solutions.
“Fintech TT is one of the pillars of the FinTech Roadmap for Trinidad & Tobago, which is a strategic plan for the country to become a FinTech enabled financial services hub. Led by a volunteer group of members who see the potential to improve the delivery of financial services in Trinidad & Tobago and the wider Caribbean, the Association aims to be a driving force in the sustained development of FinTech solutions that put financial services within the reach of the unbanked and underbanked.

“We at FAC aim to drive change in the FinTech ecosystem,” said Tricia Lines Hill, FAC’s SVP of Business Development and Marketing. “FinTech can lower market entry barriers and serve traditionally unbanked areas of the payment network. We provide as much education as we can around payments, especially in the ecommerce space. We are thrilled to join FinTech TT as a member to help facilitate fintech evolution in the region.”
