The second day of racing in the Bermuda Sail Grand Prix presented by Hamilton Princess took place today [May 15], with Australia claiming the victory.

The event saw a nine-strong fleet take part, with Great Britain, the United States, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Spain, Denmark, and France all in action in the two-day event, which was broadcast internationally.

Australia — the two-time defending champions — swept to victory over Ben Ainslie’s Great Britain and Phil Robertson’s Canada in a strong final race following consistent performances in all five fleet races. You can view all Bernews coverage of SailGP here.
