It is in this context that I valued the opportunity to be at the table of discussion for this the first ever Commons and Overseas Territories Speaker’s Conference.

“Along with the topics that were discussed, a key objective was the establishment of a forum for the Commons and Overseas Territories Speakers to have a direct line of communication to assist in the strengthening between our Parliaments. No, no no! That is contrary to the PLP party line! The British are bad. They have enslaved Bermudians for 400 years! We want reparations for 400 years of free labour.

Isn’t it funny how the British are evil and independence is progress, and yet the PLP can’t resist a Business Class flight, a tour of Parliament and some tea and scones?

    Hypocrites.

What a distorted comment from Joe Bloggs who takes great delight in all of his comments and does NOTHING to make things better. Hypocritical.
