Traffic Advisory For Bicycle Race On Sunday
The Ministry of Public Works has issued a traffic advisory in advance of the Bermuda Bicycle Association’s race on Sunday [June 5], noting that “there will be no road closures to traffic while the bicycle race takes place, but motorists are asked to use caution and allow cyclists to participate and give way when directed given by the Police and Race Officials.”
The notice states, “The bicycle race will commence on Sunday 5th June, 2022 at 8:00 am and is expected to be concluded by 11:00 am. All motorists are expected to use caution and avoid collusion with race participants.”
“Bermuda Bicycle Association’s Race Commencing at Kindley Field Road and travel in an easterly direction to Swing Bridge roundabout, then turn at the roundabout and head in a westerly direction along Kindley Field Road to the Airport roundabout and The Causeway, then travel in a westerly direction along The Causeway, then travel in a westerly direction along North Shore Road to Flatts Village, then travel in a westerly direction along North Shore Road to the Barker’s Hill roundabout, then turn at the roundabout and head in an easterly direction along North Shore Road to Flatts Village, then travel in an easterly direction along North Shore Road to The Causeway, then travel in an easterly direction along The Causeway to the Airport roundabout where the race will end at Kindley Field Road.”
