Cricket: Uganda Defeat Bermuda By 8 Wickets
Bermuda took on Uganda in the ICC Men’s CWC Challenge at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala, Uganda, with the hosts winning by eight wickets.
Bermuda won the toss and elected to bat in their second ICC Men’s CWC Challenge League B match. Bermuda was bowled out for 95, with Dalin Richardson the top scorer with 15, Kamau Leverock added 14, Zeko Burgess chipped in with 13, and Amri Ebbin scored 12. Frank Akankwasa was the pick of the Uganda bowlers with figures of .5-0-00-2.
In reply Uganda scored 99/2, Simon Ssesazi was the top scorer with 50 not out, Jabari Darrell and Leverock claimed a wicket each with Darrell returning figures of 4-1-16-1, while Leverock bowled 4-1-17-1.
