St. George’s Cricket Club, Bailey’s Bay, St. David’s Cricket Club, Warwick Workmen’s, and Cleveland County all recorded victories in this weekend’s Premier & First Division cricket action.

Premier Division

St. George’s Cricket Club Won by 16 Runs: St. George’s Cricket Club 126 Somerset Cricket Club 110

At the Somerset Cricket Club, St. George’s Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat, they were bowled out 126, Onias Bascome was the top scorer with 41, while Jordan DeSilva returned figures of 6-0-10-4 for the Somerset Cricket Club, while Greg Maybury bowled 8-0-41-4.

In reply the Somerset Cricket Club was bowled out for 110, Chris Douglas was the top scorer with 21, and Shaq Darrell was the pick of the St. George’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 8-0-29-3, while Rodney Trott bowled 8-0-31-3.

Southampton Rangers 83 Bailey’s Bay 40/2: Bailey’s Bay Won [D/L Method]

At Lord’s in St. David’s, Willow Cuts won the toss and sent St. David’s Cricket Club to bat, the match was reduced to 30 overs with St. David’s Cricket Club scoring 139/6, OJ Pitcher was the top scorer with 27, while Joseph Basden was the pick of the Willow Cuts bowlers with figures of 6-0-16-4.

In reply Willow Cuts scored 109/9, winning by 29 runs, Antonio Darrell was the top scorer with 22, Derrick Brangman was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 6-1-17-3.

First Division

Devonshire Recreation Club 168 Warwick Workmen’s Club 108/4: Warwick Workmen’s Won by 6 Wickets [D/L Method]

At the Devonshire Recreation Club, Warwick Workmen’s Club won the toss and sent Devonshire Recreation Club to bat, they would be bowled out for 168, Ankoma Cannonier was the top scorer with 65, which came off 64 balls, he hit 7 fours and 2 sixes. Jodi Maroni led the Warwick Workmen’s bowling attack with figures of 8-2-28-3, while Luke Horan bowled 5-0-29-3.
