Police Confirm Death Of 70-Year-Old Man
Police have confirmed the death of a 70 year old man, and said an “autopsy is anticipated in due course to determine cause of death, however foul play is not suspected at this time.”
A police spokesperson said, “Around 3:10pm on Saturday 11th June 2022, police and other first responders attended a report of an unresponsive 70 year old male, located at a Victoria Street, City of Hamilton residence.
“On arrival, it was ascertained that there were no signs of life present and death was pronounced at the scene by an attending physician.
“The scene was forensically processed by police and an investigation has commenced. An autopsy is anticipated in due course to determine cause of death, however foul play is not suspected at this time.
“The Bermuda Police Service is aware of social media posts circulating regarding the deceased. Anyone who may have information regarding the deceased, in particular his movements prior to his death, is encouraged to call police on 211.
“No further information will be given until the next of kin have been notified.”
