Paget Pistols 3 Boaz Island Beer Barons 6
In the opener, the Boaz Island Beer Barons defeated the Paget Pistols 6 – 3.
The Paget Pistols held a 3 – 2 first period lead, they got two goals from Kris Abramoski, with Brian White, adding the other. James Amaral and Matt Mcphail scored a goal each for the Boaz Island Beer Barons.
The Boaz Island Beer Barons shutout the Paget Pistols in the second period while scoring four times, Mcphail scored twice to complete his hat-trick, while Amaral added his second goal of the game, and Jeremy Estey added the other.
Neither team scored in the third period for the Boaz Island Beer Barons to record the win.
Pembroke Pirates 11 Hamilton Hurricanes 6
The nightcap saw 17 goals scored as the Pembroke Pirates defeated the Hamilton Hurricanes 11 – 6.
The Pembroke Pirates got 4 goals off the stick of Jeff Ingleman, with Mathieu Desjardins, and Hart Freedman both adding two goals each, Adam Smith, Mark Heintzman, and Matty Ingleman all added a goal each. The Hamilton Hurricanes got four goals from Matt Benson, with Pete Brodsky, and Israel Guzman adding a goal each.
