Bermuda Continue In Caribbean Championships
Bermuda was back in action in the Eastern Caribbean Senior Men’s Volleyball Championships in Antigua and Barbuda.
In their first match of the day and the third of the Championships, Bermuda lost 3 – 0 to Grenada. Grenada won the first game 25 – 20 in a 20-minute battle, the second match went on for a total of 29 minutes with Grenada winning 25 – 22. Grenada would then close out the match winning the third game 25 – 17 in 19 minutes. Tyler Hurdle had 10 points and 1 block, while Ryan Davies chipped in with 9 points and a block.
In their second match of the day, Bermuda defeated Saint Kitts & Nevis 3 – 0. Bermuda won the first game 25 – 21 in 20 minutes, it was 2 – 0 as Bermuda won the second game 25 – 12 in 20 minutes, they closed out the match winning the third game 25- 14 in 20 minutes. Once again Hurdle led the Bermuda team with 14 points and 3 blocks, while Eron Woods also had 14 points and 3 blocks.
