RFP For Financial Feasibility Study On Quarry
The Government has issued a Request for Proposals [RFP] “to conduct a financial feasibility study to determine the optimal direction of the Government-owned Quarry.”
The notice said, “This Request for Proposals [RFP] is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda [the "Government"] to prospective proponents to submit proposals for a Financial Feasibility Study Quarry Operations as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars.
“The Government of Bermuda is requesting proposals from qualified firms to conduct a financial feasibility study to determine the optimal direction of the Government-owned Quarry. A financial feasibility study will include a cost/benefit analysis and forecast an expected return on investment [ROI], as well as outline any financial risks associated with the possible future operating scenarios of the Quarry.”
The document states that “the goal of the engagement is to determine whether privatization of the Quarry or re-investment in infrastructure is most optimal.”
