Vessel Towed After Electrical Fire Onboard

A 30ft vessel was towed ashore after there was an electrical fire onboard.

A Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre spokesperson said, “Sunday 3rd July, 5:28 pm. – A caller onboard a 30ft Pleasure Craft near Morgans Point in the Great Sound reported an electrical fire onboard.

“The fire had been successfully extinguished, leaving the vessel disabled and in need of assistance. The commercial company Sea Assist attended and towed the vessel ashore.”
