Lewis Continues To Moves Up Leaderboard
Three races were completed in each fleet at the 2022 ILCA 4 Youth World Championships in Portugal, with Bermuda’s Amelia Lewis back in action.
Lewis — competing in a girl’s fleet of 156 sailors from around the world — moved up 14 more places from her starting position of 71st place to 57th place after 9 races.
Lewis finished the first race of the day and the seventh of the regatta in 15th place, before crossing the line in 40th in the second race of the day, and closed out the day by finishing 49th in the third and final race of the day.
