Fearon & Durkin Win Zurich 5K Road Race
The Zurich 5K Road Race — which started and finished at the Clearwater Beach in St. David’s — was held this weekend, with Seamus Fearon and Maddie Durkin racing to victory.
Fearon crossed the line in a time of 16:27, Tommy Marshall was second with a time of 16:46, and Will Green finished third clocking 16:55.
Durkin was the 10th runner to cross the line stopping the clock in a time of 18:17, Rose-Anna Hoey was the second female finisher and the 11th runner to finish with a time of 18:44, and Teresa Ruiz was the third female finisher and 25th overall clocking 21:13.
Sanchez Smith and Kelise Wade were the Junior 2K Male and Female Champions, Smith was clocked at 8:13, while Wade finished second overall with a time of 8:29.
