Hamilton Princess & Beach Club announced the appointment of Keisha Webb as the Public Relations & Reputation Manager.
A spokesperson said, “Ms. Webb began last month as the Public Relations & Reputation Manager, where she has been managing the development and implementation of the hotel’s public relations activities, communicating promotions and events to address business needs, and strengthening the reputation of the hotel with guests and the local community.
“With more than 20 years of experience in marketing, communications and events, across the banking, tourism and retail industries, Ms. Webb’s diverse professional background provided her the opportunity to cultivate relationships and reach varied audiences both on and off-island.”
Tim Morrison, General Manager of Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, said: “I am delighted that Keisha Webb has joined our team as the Public Relations & Reputation Manager. Along with Keisha’s day to day PR activities, she will oversee and develop community outreach and engagement, manage high profile visits and visitors, as well as providing public relations guidance to the hotel’s executive team.
“Keisha is an excellent public relations and hospitality professional with an impressive reputation. Her dedication to hospitality in Bermuda aligns well with the brand of Hamilton Princess & Beach Club.”
The spokesperson added, “Prior to this role, Ms. Webb’s career included time at the Bermuda Tourism Authority, where she was able to put her passion for the Bermuda brand to work. Her role included outreach and support to business groups who provided the volume of visitors needed on-island, to drive their spending power in the local economy.
“She also project-managed many signature events such as the Clipper Race, which provided crucial economic impact in our tourism landscape.
“Ms. Webb began her professional career in print journalism in the United States. She served in various positions including proofreader, copy writer, reporter and editor. After 10 years in the U.S., Ms. Webb returned to Bermuda to join The Bermuda Sun newspaper team. Shortly after she was drawn to communications, events and corporate philanthropy at Capital G Limited, formerly the parent company of Clarien Bank Limited.
“Ms. Webb was educated at The Berkeley Institute and The Bermuda College, before obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in English from St. Augustine’s University in Raleigh, North Carolina.”
Keisha Webb, Public Relations & Reputation Manager, Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, said: “I am delighted to have been appointed to this exciting position, bringing my skillset full circle to represent the ‘Pink Palace’.
“The hotel is a hub for hospitality in Bermuda, and I delighted to bring my passion for tourism and hospitality to this famed hotel.”
Fantastic news! Keisha will be amazing at this role. Her enthusiasm for Bermuda as a destination is incredible. She’ll be a great fit with HP. Congratulations Keisha!
Thank you Nicole Butterworth and Kevin Dallas for the kind words and support. I love hospitality and tourism, and I wish for all in this industry to be successful for our destination.
BTA’s loss is the Princess’ gain. Congratulations Keisha, this is well deserved and they’re lucky to have you.
What loss that entire platform you ran was a overpriced clown/circus show put together by the oba or ubp. What a waste of money.
Bitter? You missed out? Didn’t get hired?
We all know that political interference is the death knell of any organisation. The PLP have seen to it that the BTA will fail, so you and others can crow and say “we told you so”.
Let’s have a Swizzle Festival at Barrs Bay and a Carnival instead.
Who cares what a racist homophobe like you has to say?
You clearly don’t know what’s going on…but you are proud to reveal your absolute ignorance to us.
