Bermuda Regiment Rifle Salute For The Queen
There will be a 21-rifle salute by the Royal Bermuda Regiment tomorrow [Sept 9] to mark the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
A spokesperson said, “Government House is advising this evening, that following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Her Excellency the Governor and her Office will observe a period of mourning.

“Tomorrow [9th September 2022], subject to the prevailing weather conditions, there will be a 21-rifle salute to mark the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. This will be staged by the Royal Bermuda Regiment, at 12 noon, at Government House.
“The Governor would like to welcome members of the public to join her in observing this event. Given the limited available space, only those with accessibility needs will be permitted to park on Government House grounds.
“To arrange access please call 292-3600. Attending members of the public are requested to arrive no later than 11:40am.
“Please note, given the pending weather, a final decision will be made at 8.00 am and Government House will update the public.”
