St. George’s Cricket Club, Western Stars, Somerset Cricket Club and St. David’s Cricket Club all recorded victories in this weekend’s Premier & First Division T20 cricket action.

Premier Division

St. George’s Cricket Club Won by 8 Wickets: Southampton Rangers 91/7 St. George’s Cricket Club 94/2

At the Southampton Oval, the Southampton Rangers batted first and scored 91/7 in their allotted 20 overs, Dalin Richardson was the top scorer with 42, while Allan Douglas II was the pick of the St. George’s Cricket Club bowlers returning figures of 4-1-9-5.

In reply the St. George’s Cricket Club scored 94/2, with Macai Simmons the top scorer with 54 not out, his runs came off 31 balls he hit 4 fours and 4 sixes. Vernon Eve was the pick of the Southampton Rangers bowlers with figures of 4-0-12-1.

Western Stars Won by 5 Wickets: Cleveland County 117/6 Western Stars 118/5

At the Sea breeze Oval, Cleveland County batted first and scored 117/6 in their allotted 20 overs, Courtney Trott was the top scorer with 25, Brian Hall was the pick of the Western Stars bowlers with figures of 4-0-18-4.

In reply Tre Manders scored 53 helping Western Stars reach a total of 118/5, Manders’ runs came off 55 balls, he hit 5 fours and 2 sixes, Mackih McGowan was the pick of the Cleveland County bowlers with figures of 4-0-20-2.

Somerset Cricket Club Won by 23 Runs: Somerset Cricket Club 112/6 Warwick Workmen’s Club 89-7

At the Somerset Cricket Club, the home team batted first scoring 112/6 in their allotted 20 overs, Alje Richardson was the top scorer with 48, Luke Horan was the pick of the Warwick Workmen’s Club bowlers with figures of 3-0-11-3.

In reply Warwick Workmen’s Club were restricted to 89/7 in their 20 overs, Cory Burgess was the top scorer with 19, Dominic Sabir was the pick of the Somerset Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 1-0-2-3.

First Division

St. David’s Cricket Club Won by 43 Runs: St. David’s Cricket Club 148/5 Somerset Bridge 105/9

At the White Hill Field, the St. David’s Cricket Club batted first scoring 148/5 in their allotted 20 overs, Ajun Lamb was the top scorer with 51, his runs came off 50 balls, hitting 2 fours and 3 sixes. Noel Woods was the pick of the Somerset Bridge bowlers with figures of 4-0-16-2.

In reply the Somerset Bridge scored 105/9, Jason Smith was the top scorer with 27, Justin Pitcher was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 2-0-6-3.
