St. David’s Cricket Club, Flatt’s Victoria, Devonshire Recreation Club, Bailey’s Bay, Somerset Cricket Club, and Warwick Workmen’s Club all recorded victories in this weekend’s Premier & First Division T20 cricket action.

First Division

St. David’s Cricket Club Won by 7 Wickets: Willow Cuts 112 St. David’s Cricket Club 115/3

The St. David’s Cricket Club were crowned the Bermuda Cricket Board T20 First Division Champions following their 7 wicket victory over Willow Cuts at Lords.

Willow Cuts batted first and scored 112, Kwasi James was their top scorer with 42, while Derrick Brangman was the pick of the St. David’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 4-0-22-4, Justin Pitcher bowled 1.4-0-4-3.

In reply, the St. David’s Cricket Club scored 115/3, Ajuan Lamb was the top scorer with 35, while Joseph Basden was the pick of the Willow Cuts bowlers with figures of 3-0-25-2.

Flatt’s Victoria Won by 4 Wickets: PHC 96/4 Flatt’s Victoria 97/6

PHC batted first and scored 96/4 in their allotted 20 overs, Dionte Dowling was the top scorer with 38, Jahmi Douglas was the pick of the Flatt’s Victoria bowlers returning figures of 4-0-19-2.

In reply, Flatt’s Victoria scored 96/7, Jan-Johan Nel was the top scorer with 31, Jack Fishlock was the pick of the PHC bowlers with figures of 3-0-32-2.

Devonshire Recreation Club Won by 30 Runs: Devonshire Recreation Club 169/4 Somerset Bridge 139/6

At the Wellington Oval, the Devonshire Recreation Club defeated Somerset Bridge by 30 runs, batting first the Devonshire Recreation Club scored 169/4, Drewonde Bascome was the top scorer with 60 not out, his runs came off 35 balls, he hit 1 four and 6 sixes, Donnie Charles was the pick of the Somerset Bridge bowlers with figures of 4-0-9-1.

In reply, the Somerset Bridge scored 139/6, Jason Smith was the top scorer with 31 not out, while Dion Ball was the pick of the Devonshire Recreation Club bowlers with figures of 3-0-12-2.

Bailey’s Bay Won by 6 Wickets: Cleveland County Cricket Club 140/6 Baileys Bay 145/4

Bailey’s Bay defeated their Eastern County rivals Cleveland County by 6 wickets in a nail-biter at the Sea Breeze Oval. Cleveland County batted first and scored 140/6, Mackih McGowan was the top scorer with 49, Zakao Hart was the pick of the Bailey’s Bay bowlers with figures of 4-0-20-3.

In reply Bailey’s Bay scored 145/4 in 19.5 overs, Stephen Outerbridge was the top scorer with 42 not out, Room O’Brien was the pick of the Cleveland County bowlers with figures of 1-0-10-1.

Somerset Cricket Club Won by 56 Runs: Somerset Cricket Club 132/8 Western Stars 76/9

At Lord’s in St. David’s, the Somerset Cricket Club batted first and scored 132/8 in their allotted 20 overs, Jordan DeSilva was the top scorer with 30, Rohan Davis was the pick of the Western Stars bowlers with figures of 4-0-22-2.

In reply Western Stars scored 76/9, Tre Manders was the top scorer with 17, while Matt Watson was the pick of the Somerset Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 4-0-13-3.

Warwick Workmen’s Club Won by 2 Wickets: Southampton Rangers 119/9 Warwick Workmen’s Club 122/8

At the Southampton Oval, Warwick Workmen’s Club defeated the Southampton Rangers by 2 wickets, Southampton Rangers scored 119/9, Dalin Richardson was the top scorer with 50, his runs came off 52 balls, hitting 2 fours and 1 six, Luke Fulton was the pick of the Warwick Workmen’s Club bowlers with figures of 3.3-0-19-3, while Cory Burgess bowled 4-1-26-3.
