Emma & Jack Harvey Compete In Swim Meet
Emma Harvey and her Penn State Women’s Swimming & Diving teammates defeated Navy, 202.50-97.50, and Boston, 217-82, while Jack Harvey and his Penn State Men’s Swimming & Diving teammates defeated Boston, 212-86, but went down to Navy, 148-150 on the road at Lejeune Hall in their season-opening meet.
Emma Harvey led off the Penn State Women’s 200 Yard Medley Relay B Team which finished third with a time of 1:44.06, she would win the Women’s 100 Yard Backstroke touching the wall in a time of 54.85.
In the Women’s 200 Yard Backstroke, Harvey finished third with a time of 2:01.99, Harvey would pick up her second win of the Meet winning the Women’s 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 55.18.
With a time of 51.20, Jack Harvey finished 5th in the Men’s 100 Yard Backstroke, Harvey then finished 3rd in the Men’s 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:50.33. Harvey swam the second leg for the Penn State Men’s 400 Yard Freestyle Relay C team that finished 7th with a time of 3:08.97.
The swimming duo, who are siblings, recently represented Bermuda at the Commonwealth Games.
