PLP To Hold Deputy Leader & Leader Debate
According to flyers sent out to PLP members, the PLP will hold a Deputy Leader’s Debate this evening [Oct 12] and a Leader’s Debate on Saturday [Oct 15].
The Deputy Leader’s Debate is between the current Deputy Leader Walter Roban and Renee Ming, while the current PLP Leader David Burt will debate Curtis Dickinson. The flyers sent out indicate that both debates are for ‘members only.’
Ok, humour me: why “members only”?
What is the harm in all of Bermuda hearing the candidates that are applying for a job that we pay the salary for?

The PLP government has always operated under a cloud of secrecy. Remember what Ewart Brown said after he and his cronies staged a coup d’état against Jennifer Smith? “We had to deceive you”. They are still deceiving us and will continue to do so as long they are in office. We need to vote them out!
“It’s a PLP internal matter. It does not concern the wider public” is the official response.
