Traffic Advisory For Railway Trail, Southampton

The Ministry of Public Works is advising of a traffic change in the Railway Trail area in Southampton  that will last until Sunday, October 30th, 2022.

A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that the railway trail, in Southampton from White Hill Field gateway to Tribe Road No 5 will be made one-way to head east only. This one-way traffic flow will commence immediately until Sunday, October 30th, 2022.

“This one-way system will be implemented to accommodate minibus traffic from the White Hill Field to Tribe Road No 5 for the PGA Bermuda Championship Tournament being held at the Port Royal Golf Course.

“The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.

“Should there be any questions regarding this one-way direction traffic flow system, please direct queries to the attention of Construction and Maintenance Engineer Mr. Curtis J Charles PE, at the Ministry of Public Works on 501-3036.”
