  1. Ringmaster says:

Very unlikely Curtis will win, but at least he has given Bermuda the clearest warning from someone in the PLP that Bermuda’s financial position is at a breaking point. It takes a man of principle, especially a PLP MP, to say what he has said, knowing his political future is pretty much finished.

    • Facts says:

Mr Dickinson stated on the YouTube video that 5 years ago we came in under a OBA government that only benefited a few. Those he fail to learn from the OBA failure at Morgan’s Point………. ( smile). Well he’s not joining you jokers but he will be Premier next election. Get ready to lose again 30-6 OBA.

    • Billy says:

Curtis will win the next election when he crushes the obaUBP since Burt is not running again.

      • Ringmaster says:

Why won’t Burt run in the next election? He says will will step down in 2026, that’s after the next election.
As to 30-6 and the OBA, why would the OBA want to win and try and sort out the PLP’s mess again, which is way worse than in 2012. 2020 was an election where the PLP won with around 33% of the voting population, or 25% of he total population. Not a landslide in voting terms. Last night showed the split within the PLP. Not surprising considering their disastrous performance since 1998. 2017 merely increased the debt levels, decreased retail sales, GDP and encouraged the population decline which ironically the PLP are trying to fix with getting expats here to buy houses for the tax revenue, not create jobs for Bermudians.

        • RingKING says:

Get over it, CD isn’t going to start another party or join forces with UBPoba. The man will be the next leader and their is nothing you or red team can do about it accept complain about him next. He already said the UBPoba was a failure.

  2. Trufth says:

Burt should be forced to stay put and fix this steaming pot of chit he has created.

Mr. Dickinson, you do NOT want to inherit this colossal dumpster fire.

  3. You gave our Country hope! says:

A sad for Bermuda. Thank you Mr. Dickinson. You have the support and admiration of the country, with the exception of a few delegates.

  4. Watcher says:

As expected those on the friends and family plan with their noses in the trough while the country circles the drain. Vote in their self interest. We”re in serious trouble with these continuing in charge.

  7. Unknown800k says:

  13. Islandchild says:

    Unsurprising, but regretful.
There was, briefly, a hope for things to change, and we desperately need change.
The only place it can come from at the moment is from within the PLP and, sadly, not unlike the OBA, they are unwilling to change.

    • Lol says:

The UBP changed into OBA circus who even their own supporters laugh at.

      • Lolol says:

        Racist

      • Joe Bloggs says:

“The UBP changed into OBA circus who even their own supporters laugh at.”

    Idiots. Utter utter idiots.

  16. SMH! says:

A sad day for Bermuda. It is what the delegates want not what Bermuda wants or needs. Obviously the delegates have their heads in the sand.
