BUEI’s Harbourside Market On Nov 19 & Dec 3
The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute will hold their Harbourside Markets on Saturday, November 19th and December 3rd from 10.00am until 4.00pm.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute’s highly anticipated Harbourside Markets return on Saturday, November 19th and December 3rd from 10am until 4pm. Local vendors and artisans are excited to showcase their products and provide the perfect gifts for the Holidays during the two days.
“This free event features a wide range of unique products for purchase from thirty local vendors on each of BUEI’s three levels. Among the many items being sold are Women’s Clothing, Jewelry, Herbal Tea Blends, Luxury Handbags, Candles, Aromatherapy Oils and Diffusers, Bermuda Cedar Goods, Children’s Books and Toys, Home Décor, Baked Goods and much more!”
“For nearly a decade, BUEI’s Harbourside Market has been a showcase for unique gift ideas from local vendors and must-visit destination for holiday shopping”. said Karla Lacey, BUEI’s CEO. “We’re excited to continue the tradition this year.”
The spokesperson said, “In addition to the Markets, BUEI will host a complimentary screening of two films throughout the day in the Tradewinds Auditorium.
“The first film, set to start at 11am, is the 2018 animated comedy, ‘The Grinch’. This family friendly film tells the story of a cynical grump who goes on a mission to steal Christmas, only to have his heart changed by a young girl’s holiday spirit.
“The second film, scheduled for 2pm, is the 2020 holiday movie ‘Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey’. This musical adventure follows legendary toymaker Jeronicus Jangle [Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker] whose fanciful inventions burst with whimsy and wonder.
“Shoppers will also receive a Christmas Musical Preview of this year’s Pantomime by the Bermuda Musical and Dramatic Society [BMDS].
“Tram rides throughout the city of Hamilton will be available between 11am and 2pm at a price of $5 per person with children under the age of 2 riding for free. There will also be a selection of food vendors onsite. Admission and parking are free. Please note that BUEI’s exhibits will not be open during these events.
