Daley Concludes International With More Medals

Elijah Daley was back in the pool for day three of the Age Group International, hosted by the Etobicoke Swim Club at the Etobicoke Olympium in Canada.

On the final day, Daley set three more new personal best times and picked up two gold medals and a bronze medal.

Competing in the boy’s 100m freestyle preliminaries, Daley touched the wall in a time of 53.66, finishing fourth. In the boy’s 100m freestyle final, Daley captured the bronze medal by clocking a personal best time of 53.01.

Daley won the boy’s 50m butterfly gold medal after clocking a personal best time of 25.27 in the final; he had earlier clocked a time of 25.45 during the boy’s 50m butterfly preliminaries, which was the fastest time.

The swimmer also won the boy’s 100m backstroke gold medal, clocking a personal best time of 57.50 in the final. He recorded a time of 57.84 during the 100m backstroke preliminaries, which was also the fastest time.
