Trott & Frith Win Thanksgiving Golf Challenge
The Bermuda Golf Association hosted the Thanksgiving Challenge on the Hill which was played at the Turtle Hill Golf Course in challenging 30-knot north westerly winds.
In the 36-hole stroke play event with both rounds played on the same day, Hav Trott was the men’s champion with a total score of 124 after rounds of 66, and 58, with Jason Darrell taking second place three strokes back, and Gary Brangman finished third.
In the ladies’ division, Melinda Frith was crowned the champion with a score of 132, after rounds of 70 and 62, narrowly edging Tracy Nash by one stroke, with Valerie Nearon finishing third.
