Daley Shines Again At Canadian Championships
Elan Daley was back in action competing on the final day of the Canadian Age Group Championships, once again standing on top of the podium three times after swimming three personal best times.
The final day saw Daley’s gold medal haul increase to nine in nine events.
After clocking a personal best time of 27.72 in the preliminaries, Daley touched the wall in a gold medal personal best time of 27.12 in the women’s 50 meter butterfly final.
In the women’s 100 meter freestyle preliminaries, Daley clocked a time of 54.96; she moved even faster in the final, clocking a gold medal personal best time of 54.05.
In her final event of the Championships, Daley clocked a gold medal personal best time of 4:17.68 in the women’s 400 meter freestyle final.
