Dame Flora Duffy Receives Special Kite

Dame Flora Duffy was presented with a special handmade kite adorned with her image during a recent visit to Woody’s Bar in Somerset.
The kite had been made from newspaper cuttings of the Bermudian triathlete winning the gold medal at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2021.
Duffy, a four-time world champion, was officially recognised for her services to sport following an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace in London last week.
She was appointed a Dame in the New Year’s Honours list 11 months ago.
