Three Officers Rewarding “Good Driving Habits”
Three Bermuda police officers have taken it upon themselves to reward motorists that display “good driving habits” with gift certificates usable at some west end businesses.
The Bermuda Police Service posted the photo below online, saying, “Holiday Give Back. Three officers from B Watch West have decided to treat motorists in the west end of the island who display ‘good driving habits’ with gift certificates over the holiday season.
“The officers are continuously issuing tickets for driving offences throughout the year and felt it was important to acknowledge those motorists who do their part to keep our roads safe. The initiative is completely funded by the three officers, who purchased $300 worth of gift certificates form west end businesses.”
