Hospital Welcomes Summer Student Applicants
The Bermuda Hospitals Board said they welcome job applications from University and College students for the summer months.
A spokesperson said, “Bermuda Hospitals Board is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality healthcare through service, education and leadership. Bermudian students who are already attending university or college are encouraged to join our family for the summer months.
- “Preference will be given to university/college applicants studying: nursing [students in this discipline must have commenced their clinical rotation], accounting, allied health, culinary arts, diagnostic imaging, finance, laboratory technology, mental health, pharmacy, rehabilitation services and substance abuse counseling. Other areas will be considered upon review.
- “Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment and must already have a Bermuda social insurance number.
- “Applicants must have an interest in working at either King Edward VII Memorial Hospital or Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute.

When are you going to hire specialist doctors, like start with Oncologist.
Sir, please tell me you’re not suggesting we still do not have any Oncologists on island; an island that has such high cases of cancer. This was the case 20 years ago when my Mother passed. No one should be bounced back and forth looking/begging for answers and treatment in a country that boast among the wealthiest.
