Island Trading Donates Furniture To ReStore

January 18, 2023

Island Trading recently donated a set of outdoor furniture to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

A spokesperson said, “Island Trading is delighted to give back whenever possible, and Habitat for Humanity of Bermuda is such an important charity. Their Habitat for Humanity ReStore located at 4 Front Street in Hamilton is focused on repurposing new and gently used items, while raising funds that benefit wonderful and valuable causes.

“Sonia Burgess, Senior Sales Associate at Island Trading recently assisted a customer who had purchased furniture ten years ago from Island Trading and simply wanted to make some changes in their home. The outdoor four-piece set was in near perfect condition and Island Trading, with the assistance of Joe Vieira Trucking, offered to remove the set and donate it to Habitat for Humanity so that funds could be raised for a good cause.”
