Road Closure For Butterfield & Vallis 5K Race
There will be a road closure on Woodlands Road due to the Butterfield & Vallis 5K race on Sunday [Jan 22] morning.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists that there will be a road closure on Woodlands Road in Hamilton & Pembroke parishes, for the yearly Butterfield & Vallis 5K race that will take place on Sunday, 22nd January 2023 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.
“The section of Woodlands Road that will be affected by this road closure is from the roundabout at Serpentine Road in Pembroke parish to the roundabout at St. John’s Road in Pembroke parish.
“Motorists are asked to avoid this road closure section and to use alternative routes via Serpentine Road and St. John’s Road for the duration of this event.
“The traffic control will be under direction of Butterfield & Vallis representatives. Access along this section of road closure will be restricted to emergency vehicles only.
“The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
