Traffic Notice For Barkers Hill, Devonshire
The Ministry of Public Works advised “that Barkers Hill will be used to accommodate a funeral procession taking place at Ocean View Golf Course on Saturday, February 4th.”
A Government spokesperson said, “Motorists are advised to avoid the area of Barker’s Hill Between the hours of 12:00pm to 3:00pm while the funeral procession takes place. During this time, traffic controls will be under direction of Police.
“The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
“Should there be any questions regarding the road traffic notice, please direct queries to Ministry of Public Works, Construction and Maintenance Engineer, Curtis Charles on #501-3036. In addition, the Bermuda Police is hereby authorized to Close or Open streets or portions of streets and restrict service parking as the Commissioner of Police determines.”
