Trio Of Bermuda Cyclists Compete In Europe
The island had three cyclists in action in Europe, with Kaden Hopkins competing in France, while Caitlin Conyers and Nicholas Narraway raced in Spain.
Kaden Hopkins represented Vendee U in the GP du Pays d’Aix 2023 in France, while Caitlin Conyers representing the International Cycling Academy competed in the 93.2 km Vuelta CV Feminas, in Spain, and Nicholas Narraway represented Telcom-On Clima-Osés Const in the Memorial Jesus Pereda in Spain.
Hopkins finished 102nd clocking a time of 3:24:19, Hopkins was 11:01 behind the winner Gwen Leclainche.
Conyers clocked a time of 2:42:04 finishing 14:06 behind the winner Floortje Mackaij and in 119th place.
Narraway finished the first day in 37th place clocking a time of 3:46:20, and then on the second day, Narraway finished 19th.
