Christopher Lee Joins Investor Community

The Bermuda Investor Community — which “exists to help entrepreneurs and investors connect” – announced that Christopher Lee will join the company’s board as a Non Executive Director.

Mr Lee said, “I am delighted to take up this role at such an exciting time for the Bermuda Investor Community. The Community has identified a strong pipeline of investment opportunities for those seeking to support the diversification and growth of the Bermuda economy, whilst adding to their investment portfolios. The success of the Bermuda Investor Community will benefit all Bermudians for years to come.”

Caroline McGill, Executive Chair of the Bermuda Investor Community,  said, “Christopher brings with him extensive experience of making investments, growing investee companies and raising capital as a start-up operator, which will prove invaluable as we move forward with the Bermuda Investor Community.

“His qualifications and international business experience make him an ideal person for this role as we seek to enable the growth and international expansion of local businesses – many in the technology sector.

Christopher is the first of a number of key appointments and we will continue to augment our board over the coming months.”

Mr Lee, who has recently taken up the role of COO on Aspen’s Capital Markets team, has held COO roles in both [re]insurance firms as well as high growth technology start-ups. He also served on the investment and portfolio management team at Chicago Growth Partners, working across three funds representing $1.5 billion of private equity capital. He gained his MBA in finance and entrepreneurial management from the Wharton School and is a graduate of the Washington and Lee university with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.”
