Summer Day Camp Employment Opportunities
The Department of Youth, Sport and Recreation is accepting employment applicants for its annual Summer Day Camp Programme.
A Government spokesperson said, “Are you an enthusiastic, fun-filled, and hardworking individual who loves working with Bermuda’s young people? If so, the Department of Youth, Sport and Recreation is accepting employment applicants for its annual Summer Day Camp Programme.
“Positions available include:
- Coordinator
- Supervisor
- Assistant Supervisor
- Dance Specialist
- Art Specialist
- Sports Specialist
- Counselor
- Para Educator
“The online registration process is available via www.sdcjobs.bm.
Today, Minister Owen Darrell said, “The annual Summer Camp programme is now in its 52nd year. It’s a very popular programme which employs around 180 people, and hosts hundreds of young people across several camp locations, from east to west. The DYSR’s Camp Programme ensures that parents will have support during the summer months, so we encourage interested individuals who wish to be a part of our team to visit our online platform and apply today.”
“The Department advised that Summer Camp registration typically starts in May, and notes that information to register young people for the camps will be shared closer to the time.
“For information regarding the 2023 Summer Camp Programme, persons can contact the Department of Youth, Sport and Recreation at 295-0855 or email sdc@gov.bm.”
