Adidas & END. Release ‘Bermuda’ Shoes
In a collaboration with END., Adidas has produced a pair of shoes named after Bermuda.
Named “END. X Adidas Bermuda,” a pair costs $115 in “Team Yellow & Gum” colour and is available on the END. website.
The END. website says, “Capturing its modernist vision through the lens of sporting footwear, the duo revisits the classic Bermuda, mirroring the iconic German art school’s penchant for bold typography, geometric shapes and of course – the distinct colour palette.
“END. links up with adidas on a bright n bold trio of footwear that taps into the 20th century movement of Bauhaus and its instantly recognisable aesthetic, that has influenced way beyond then. Washed in a pastel blue suede, the leather Three Stripes and heel take on Bauhaus’ primary colours and layered forms, while further nods to the movement sit pride of place at the woven tongue patch. To finish END. and the sportswear powerhouse take over the colour pop heels – with metallic gold foiled branding.” The shoes feature suede uppers, leather overlays, and a rubber gum outsole.”
