Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Trailblazer Awards
Premier David Burt congratulated Chlora Lindley-Myers and Cheryl Ann Lister who both received Diversity Equity and Inclusion Trailblazer Awards at the second annual Bermuda Risk Summit.
ABIR CEO John Huff previously said, “As ABIR celebrates its 30th Anniversary in 2023, we wanted to recognise Chlora Lindley-Myers as the first woman of colour in 152 years to be elected NAIC President.
“Of course, we could not let this moment pass without also recognising local hero, Cheryl Ann Lister who was appointed Chair and CEO of Bermuda’s integrated financial services regulator, the Bermuda Monetary Authority [BMA] back in 2002.”
Premier David Burt tweeted the photo below and said, “Congrats to the recipients of this year’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Trailblazer Awards, Ms. Lindley-Myers & Ms. Lister – two black women paving the way for a more inclusive & equitable future. They have broken the mold & set an example for future generations.”
