Night At The Museum Extravaganza At BUEI
The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] announced that on Saturday, April 15th from 5.00pm to 8.30pm, they will be hosting ‘Night at the Museum Extravaganza’ a family friendly fundraising event.
A spokesperson said, “The evening will include several hands-on activities for all ages, a delicious dining experience and a variety of live entertainment. BUEI’s Education Team has developed fun, ocean related art and craft projects for guests. Everyone can participate in a selection of fun, interactive quizzes, a Museum Scavenger Hunt through both floors of our Ocean Discovery Centre and enjoy special book readings by local authors in the main lobby under the Giant Squid. The entire evening was designed for all ages, including young children, pre-teens, teenagers and adults.
“Tickets for BUEI’s fundraising extravaganza include a pasta dinner catered by the Harbourfront Restaurant, with beverages and dessert provided by John Barritt & Son Ltd, Burrows and Lightbourn and Butterfield & Vallis. When purchasing tickets, guests will be promoted to select their preferred seating time for dinner, with four options between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm.
“For ease of access, family members can be dropped off at BUEI’s Main Entrance prior to parking in the City of Hamilton. BUEI’s Tram will run in a consecutive loop from 4:15 pm to 8:45 pm, collecting guests at designated stops on Front Street, Church Street and King Street before returning to BUEI.”
Karla Lacey, BUEI CEO stated that “Like other non-profits, BUEI seeks to raise funds by creating memorable and exciting experiences for our members and the wider community. The entire team is looking forward to welcoming everyone and ensuring they have a great time. All funds raised from the ‘Night at the Museum Extravaganza’ will support our efforts to ensure our ocean is loved and protected.”
The spokesperson said, “A raffle will also be held throughout the night with great prizes on offer! Individual tickets for the family friendly fundraiser are $125 for adults, $75 for children [kids under two enter for free], or $350 for a package of four, with a maximum of two adults. Only 240 tickets are available and can be purchased at www.BUEI.bm or by phoning our Oceans Gift Shop on 294-2024.”
