I commend the school administrators for organising this event to raise community awareness and foster a greater understanding of students and their school environment. I am grateful to the 13 men who were role models for the students. It was a morning filled with fun activities and an opportunity to understand better the invaluable service this school provides.”
The spokesperson said, “DMBHA organised the event to mark Intellectual & Developmental Disability Awareness Month and to raise awareness about the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in all facets of community life, as well as an understanding of the barriers that people with disabilities still sometimes face in connecting to the communities in which they live.”
