Photos, Video & 360: St. Baldrick’s Fundraiser
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation head-shaving fundraising event was held this evening [March 17] at Docksiders, with the annual initiative seeing people shave their heads in order to raise funds for childhood cancer research. According to the event website, St. Baldrick’s events have taken place in Bermuda since 2002 and this year’s event has raised almost $150,000 as of this writing.
150k from one event of shaving head’s, I’m no math genius but how is that possible. It can’t be just from donations and if the money is real where and how is it spent. I’m not aware of any companies in bermuda working on a cure for cancer so what exactly is 150k in research will do
