Revd. Fr. Carl Williams Licence Restored
The Bishop of Bermuda Right Revd. Nicholas Dill confirmed that Revd. Fr. Carl Williams “had his license to serve as a Priest throughout the Diocese of Bermuda restored.”
A spokesperson said, “The Right Revd. Nicholas B. B. Dill, The Bishop of Bermuda wishes to confirm that on the 24th of March 2023, the Revd. Fr. Carl W. O. Williams had his license to serve as a Priest throughout the Diocese of Bermuda restored by Order of The Most Revd. and Right Hon. Justin Portal Welby, Lord Archbishop of Canterbury dated on 18th January of this year.
“Fr. Carl will from henceforth be restored as a member of the House of Clergy of the Synod of the Anglican Church. He is available to preach the Word of God, to administer the Holy Sacraments, and generally to exercise his priestly Ministry in the life and Ministry of the Anglican Church of Bermuda as occasion may require and be accorded all the rights and privileges which the holder of such license normally enjoys.
“Bishop Dill wishes to commend him to Almighty God praying in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that His blessing may rest upon Fr. Carl and his wife, Melinda, and family and upon the whole Church of God in Bermuda.
“It is hoped that together they may reflect the reconciling love of God and bring Glory to him in his world, remaining faithful to the charge he has placed upon us and to the calling of proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ in word and deed afresh to every generation.”
