Road Closure On Montpelier Road & Frog Lane

The Ministry of Public Works is informing the motoring public that “the water trench work at Parson’s Road needs to cross over through the roundabout at Montpelier Road to reach its completion location.”

A Government spokesperson said, “In order to accommodate the work across the roundabout, Montpelier Road and Frog Lane will be closed from Happy Valley Road to BFA Way traffic light on Sunday, March 26th, 2023.

“Traffic controls will be under direction of Invisible Trenching representatives and will be managed via barricades and detour signage. Motorists are advised to use detour routes via Happy Valley Road and Robert’s Avenue to avoid this section.

“The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result. Should there be any questions regarding the road closure, please contact Mrs. Tina Beer-Searle, Principal Highways Engineer on #501-3044.”
