BF&M To Donate $150,000 To HOME Charity
BF&M Limited has committed to a three year sponsorship of HOME, supporting the charity’s mission to end homelessness in Bermuda.
A spokesperson said, “Established in 2021, HOME is a non-profit organisation that provides a range of services and programmes to support individuals who are experiencing homelessness. Its goal is to provide shelter and support services, helping individuals transition from the streets, rebuild their lives, and achieve long-term stability.

“Over the course of the sponsorship, BF&M will be making a significant contribution, donating $150,000 to help enable HOME to continue its work and expand services to reach more individuals in need.”
HOME’s CEO & Executive Director Denise Carey said, “Bermuda’s homeless deserve a safe home, food security, ease of access to services, and a pathway home. Together, we can accomplish that.
“It is only through HOME’s relationships with committed partners that we can bring everybody in—and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to work closely with BF&M. That commitment will help us raise awareness around the tragedy of homelessness in Bermuda, and take practical, accountable steps to work with the island’s other social agencies to end it.”
BF&M Group President and CEO, Abigail Clifford said, “Homelessness is a critical and rising issue in Bermuda, and we believe that it is our responsibility as a corporate citizen to support organisations like HOME which is working tirelessly to support individuals facing the challenge of homelessness. We are honoured to be able to contribute to HOME’s efforts and make a meaningful impact in our community.”
The spokesperson said, “Since 2022, HOME has:
- Identified over 650 people experiencing homelessness in Bermuda
- Prevented more than 70 cases of homelessness through liaison with government agencies and other non-profit services
- Ended 52 existing cases of homelessness, transitioning individuals from rough sleeping to independent living and residential programmes; others were reunited with family
- Provided intensive case management support to 67 previously homeless people
“BF&M invites our customers, employees, and community members to join us in supporting HOME. Together, we can make a difference and create a better future for our community. Donations can be made directly at home.bm/donate or by contacting HOME’s Development Officer at development@home.bm or 441-599-9932.”
