Howes Sisters Win More Medals For Bermuda

Sisters Bella and Marleigh Howes added to Bermuda’s medal count at the Carifta Swimming Championships in Willemstad, Curaçao, yesterday [April 8].
Bermuda have won seven medals across the first three days of the annual regional competition.
Marleigh, who won a pair of silver in the girls’ 13-14 200 metres freestyle and 100 backstroke on Friday, claimed another silver in the 100 freestyle yesterday.
Bella secured a podium finish yesterday, winning silver in the girls’ 15-17 100 freestyle.
The island’s girls’ 15-17 relay team of Imojen Judd, Myeisha Sharrieff, Adriana Argent and Bella Howes, won bronze in the 800 freestyle.
The same line-up also won bronze in the 400 freestyle on the opening day of the competition on Thursday.
On Friday, Elanna Fulton earned a bronze in the girls’ 13-14 50 butterfly.
