Kiwon Waldron Named Rookie Of The Year
Bermuda’s Kiwon Waldron has been named the harness pony racing Rookie of the Year in Canada.
The Standardbred Canada website said, “On Saturday evening [April 8] in Trois-Rivieres, Guy Lafontaine and Sophie Mongeon hosted a gala that brought together 160 people at Hippodrome 3R to crown the champions of the 2022 season.
“The Rookie of the Year title was awarded to Kiwon Waldron, who came to 3R for a complete season in 2022, breaking through the ranks in the top five drivers.”
