Oceanview Re Names New Chief Actuary
Oceanview Reinsurance Ltd. [Oceanview Re], a Bermuda Class E insurance company, announced that Timothy Gasaatura has been appointed Chief Actuary, effective March 28, succeeding Ahwaz Chagani, who has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer of Oceanview Re.
A spokesperson said, “Both Mr. Gasaatura and Mr. Chagani are based in Hamilton, Bermuda. Mr. Gasaatura will be responsible for leading the actuarial team, including pricing and regulatory reporting functions for both Oceanview Re and its subsidiary Oceanview Bermuda Reinsurance Ltd. Mr. Chagani will lead the finance team for both entities.”
