Swimmers Invited To Take On Squid Pro Quo

Local swimmers can “go the distance in return for fitness” by completing three swims in two days as part of the Squid Pro Quo series.
The trio of swims consist of a one-mile race starting at Grotto Bay Beach Resort on Friday, April 28, and two swims the next day, a 5k race starting at Shark Hole in Harrington Sound in the morning, and a 1,500m race to begin at Trunk Island in Harrington Sound in the evening.
Participants can choose how many of the three races they compete in and will receive a t-shirt, and a tow float, which must be worn for the night swim. After the third and final race, they will also be invited for dinner at the Aquarium in Flatts.
Registration for the event, sanctioned by Open Water Bermuda, ends on April 27.
The race fee, including all three distances, is $125.
