Conyers Finishes 23rd In Joe Martin Stage Race
Caitlin Conyers competed in the Walmart Joe Martin Stage Race which had its largest overall professional field and the largest women’s field in the 46-year history of the race.
The Women’s Elite Stage One Fayetteville Road Race which covered 109.2km, saw Conyers finish 43rd clocking a time of 2:57:51, which was the same time as the overall stage winner Skylar Schneider.
Stage Two was a Fayetteville Road race over a distance of 98.9km, Conyers would finish 55th clocking a time of 5:54:54, she finished 4 minutes and 10 seconds behind the Stage Winner Lauren Stephens.
Conyers had the 16th fastest time in the Devil’s Den State Park Individual Time Trial over a distance of 4.8km, Conyers was clocked at 11:56, and she finished 58 seconds behind the Stage Winner Alia Shafi.
The Fourth and Final Stage was a Fayetteville Crit covering 33.5km, and Conyers finished 16th clocking a time of 49:53,
She finished with an overall time of 6:54:34, which resulted in her finishing in 23rd place overall.
