Leverock & Florida Begin Unity Cup With A Win
Kamau Leverock and his Florida Scorpion teammates began the 3rd edition of the Unity Cup T20 Tournament in Washington DC.
In their opening match, the Florida Scorpions defeated Daddy’s Kingsmen by 9 wickets.
Daddy Kingsmen batted first and they scored 148/6 in their allotted 20 overs, Ali Nasir was the top scorer with 50, while Leverock was the pick of the Florida bowlers with figures of 4-0-30-2.
In reply, the Florida Scorpions scored 150/1 after 15.3 overs, Andre Fletcher was the top scorer with 77 not out, Leverock was the only wicket to fall, he scored 28 off 24 balls, hitting 4 fours and a six.
